Hassan was my driver - he was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He spoke fluent English and was able to answer all of my questions. The SUV I was picked up in was very luxurious, with air conditioning which is a MUST for the 4-hour trip. In Chefchaouen, it felt a bit rushed, so it was difficult to experience the full city, but I took some great pictures, and got an overall sense of the area. Chefchaouen was great, Hassan was great, I would definitely recommend.
This is probably the best option how to get to Chefchaouen from Fez if you don't want to rent a car. As written before, it's basically just a transfer with brief introduction to history of the city. I didn't mind exploring city on my own. The only disadvantage is that you've got only 3.5 hours for it, wish we would have at least 4 or more so we could just stroll around and enjoy the vibe. I would book again.

It's the standard price to go to Chefchaouen and come back (from Fez). Safe driver, speaking (at least) perfect english, french and spanish, answered all our questions. They do not provide guide tour in the city itself but the medina is very easy to walk around. You'll have 4 hours to walk around (it seemed enough to have lunch and walk around).
