As I’m sure you’ve read from other reviews, it’s a very long trip there and back. It was nice having a local guide. Personally speaking I think the blue painted buildings are just a bit of a novelty, but if you’re keen to see it, the tour was a good easy way to see it. The bus had wifi which was great but the seats did feel a little bit cramped for a long journey. Everyone from the tour company was very nice and accommodating.

Our driver, Mr. Abderrahmane, was so professional, driving so well, that the 4 hours ride passed very pleasant and in the same time we felt safe. Ask for him to have to best experience given the long and difficult ride to Chefchauen! We totally recommend the trip, event tough in the beginning we were not so decided to go, but took the best decision :).

Hassan was my driver - he was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He spoke fluent English and was able to answer all of my questions. The SUV I was picked up in was very luxurious, with air conditioning which is a MUST for the 4-hour trip. In Chefchaouen, it felt a bit rushed, so it was difficult to experience the full city, but I took some great pictures, and got an overall sense of the area. Chefchaouen was great, Hassan was great, I would definitely recommend.
